SKATER 388

The current offshore racing national and world championship winning model, Skater’s 388 is the top predator in the cat class. Having also won several shootouts at speeds in excess of 190mph, the 388 has proven itself to be the leader in both offshore and inland waters. Offered only as a custom flat deck/wrap-around windshield boat, this model can be built as standard width, or widened up to 10”. Seating configurations can vary from 5, all the way up to 7 passengers in the widened configuration. Speed comes easy for this larger cat, running similar speeds to its slightly smaller/lighter sibling, the 368. When the water gets rough is when the difference between the 368 and 388 really show, as the extra 2’ of length gives the 388 a clear advantage in ride quality. The current best seller in Skater’s lineup of performance catamarans, this is THE Skater to own when you want to keep it under 40’.
